Every Photo Scanning Order Includes:
High-Resolution JPG Scans - Our professional staff scan & inspect every single photo onsite at our lab.
Image Rotation - Your photos are rotated to the correct orientation
Scan In Order - We maintain your order & organization which you deliver to us.
Photo Albums - Photos should be delivered to us in envelopes or bundled in rubber bands taking care not to damage the edges. Any delivery of photo albums will carry a surcharge of $20.00 per album. Any of the glued or magnetic page albums will carry another surcharge and we assume no responsibility for damage photos. These inexpensive “magnetic” or pre-glued albums should never be used for photos.
Big Or Small - We Scan It All - Photos sized 2" x 2" up to 8" x 10" are included in our standard rates
We Are North America’s only choice for Photo Scanning.
Shipping and Delivery:
There are three ways to use our Photo Scanning service, depending on your needs & location.
- Drop Off if Customers Near Our Facility
- Prepare in Your Own Box or Plastic Bin and ship to us secured means with tracking number
- Or ask for our EasyBox to shipped to you. All EasyBox order are shipped by FedEx ( premium cost)
We strongly recommend using a courier service like UPS or Fed-Ex for all shipments to our Lab that is insured and provide a tracking number. All outbound completed orders are shipped by default through the postal service such as ExpressPost with a tracking number. We also ship the images and DVD’s separately for security reasons. For security reasons we also keep your scanned images on our server until delivery confirmation and or 30 days in case of a reorder is required.
Note On Our Pricing:
At Pixl imaging we always strive to maintain the best pricing possible. We have to maintain a minimum order size of $50 per order to cover our handling and set up the cost that we encounter on every order. scanning services (Shipping charges are in addition to the $50).
Drop Off Orders:
Clients in the Ottawa Ontario Canada and Punta Gorda Florida USA can drop their orders directly in our offices.
You'll need to ensure your photographs are prepared - some clients choose to be incredibly detailed in their order & organization, whereas others opt to provide a box of loose images of various sizes - either way is acceptable. All drop off orders must be properly boxed..
Steps To Start Your Project:
1) Place your printed photographs, Negatives, Slides, Video Tapes, Home Movie Film in a secure box with specific instruction on the fully completed Order Form. Make sure that all photos, slides, negatives are in groups if required and bundled in proper order.
2) Fill out the order form with instructions.
3) Bring your photos to our office facility in Ottawa ON at 1580 St Laurent Blvd Suite 800 and/or 777 lake dr. Punta Gorda Florida USA ---------------- - Open 5 days a week with no appointment required.
